These figures are typically higher for staff working in healthcare settings.
Emerging research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health workers’ mental health shows increases in mental health problems and psychological distress (Garciá-Fernández et al., 2020; Spoorthy, 2020), along with low levels of resilience (Mosheva et al., 2020; Roberts et al., 2021).
