We are so proud that our HR Mental Wellbeing Report 2026 was featured in The People Leader, highlighting some of the report's most significant findings on the mental health of HR professionals including the scale of HR's wellbeing crisis. The article explored the concerning prevalence of anxiety, depression and burnout within the profession, drawing attention to the growing pressures faced by HR teams as they balance organisational demands with supporting the wellbeing of others.
The feature also included commentary from Dr Felicity Baker and Dr Jo Burrell on the importance of moving beyond awareness towards meaningful organisational support. While the findings reveal the scale of the challenge, they also demonstrate that psychologically informed interventions and sustained support such as through HR Supervision, can improve wellbeing, reduce burnout and help retain experienced HR professionals.
This feature has helped bring national attention to the wellbeing needs of HR professionals and to open the conversation about how we support those who support everyone else.
