Jo cited in People Management Magazine talking about working days lost through stress

This articlein People Management Magazine featured the latest official data from the ONS which shows sickness absence is at an all time high.


Dr Jo Burrell, co-founder and clinical psychologist at Ultimate Resilience, was cited talking about the high rates of working days lost through stress and the impact of job market instability, the cost of living crisis and workload on people’s vulnerability to stress and mental health issues. Jo commented how these additional stressors in addition to the everyday challenges and demands would contribute to a rise to sickness absence.
